Scientific Name: Epipremnum aureum
This ivy features heart-shaped leaves of varying sizes, often variegated with yellow, and has climbing or trailing stems that can reach up to 2 meters in length.
Light:
- Prefers bright, filtered light from early spring to late autumn.
- Can tolerate direct sunlight during the winter months.
Watering:
- Water moderately, keeping the soil slightly moist.
- Feed with diluted fertilizer once every two weeks during the growing season.
- Reduce watering during the winter months.
Temperature:
- Thrives at normal indoor temperatures but should not drop below 15°C.
Humidity:
- High humidity is essential for optimal growth.
- Can be placed on a tray of wet pebbles during summer to increase humidity.
